About Us

In 2016, we decided to sell our beautiful historical home in the city to begin a new adventure. We bought a 54 acre cattle farm in Kentucky and cleaned it up to start a lavender farm.

We decided to use our unique talents as a family to GROW PEACE by offering products and experiences that contribute to the well being of others. Visit and Follow Big Roots Farm on Facebook for photos and videos of our journey: Big Roots Farm.

Lavender has many healing properties and uses.  It is good for helping you sleep, reduce anxiety and keep insects away.  Lavender is decorative and useful!

We will open JUNE 2, 2018.  You are invited to come cut your own lavender, walk the labyrinth, sit with nature and enjoy healthy snacks.

We are little over one hour from Evansville, IN and Louisville, KY. Approximately 3 hours from Indianapolis and 2.5 hours from Nashville, TN.

Send us a message if you would like to schedule a staff retreat, a board strategic planning session or a girls day out in 2018.
